I started singing professionally at 15 and led my first band in high school. After touring for two years post-graduation, I earned a jazz vocal scholarship at Cornish College of the Arts, studying under notable mentors such as Joni Metcalf, Gary Peacock, Maurice Stern, Julian Priester, Lowell Roddenberry, & Jerry Gray. Now I make my own awesome music

My jazz and soul roots can be heard in my work. Founding bands like The Teri Derr Band, Blues Therapy, & Hot Pursuit, participating in many CD projects for other
artists and projects. I have collaborated with artists like Michael Peterson.
